Movie Review: Barbarian

“Barbarian”

2022, directed by Zach Cregger

One of my favorite online hobbies is looking at houses on Zillow. I also love to peruse cool Airbnb listings to see the fun interior designs. I enjoy imagining what it would be like to live in them or stay in them. Alas, I will now only be buying a completely empty lot and booking premium brand name hotel stays. Bonus points and a big thank you for the Skarsgard tips on putting a duvet cover on the insert though, genuinely helpful advice!

On a legitimate review note: The less you know the better, just push play in a very dark room and let it do its thing. And if you want a double feature, I recommend pairing it with Malignant for back-to-back chaos!

TW: graphic body horror, claustrophobia, gun violence, knife violence, torture and kidnapping, car accidents, mention of rape and assault, gaslighting and manipulation, suggested/implied incest
